watch the video … he is clearly wearing headphones. The video is being shot from the other side of the glass, that’s why you can hear the beat. you can see the reflection of the computer monitor at the bottom of the screen.

I’m sure that Chachi and company over at Boom Bap Studio know how to get good sound quality while recording. I’m sure they appreciate your concern … but lets get back on topic. This topic is about Theo being creative about keeping his fans and potential fans plugged in with his new web show. I think its a dope idea. The audio does sound too compressed. I would prefer higher quality audio in future webisodes.

also … the audio of him rapping is not coming thru the glass … its going thru the sound board and out the engineers speakers. Lets not try and find faults that are not there.

As amateur hour continues here on 401hiphop.com,
We see emcee joe schmoe give an uninspired impromptu introduction
to his new video blog. From the jump, You can sense you will be as bored as he is with his own life.
Hip Hop is a culture of “emcees” so is there really
anyone out there watching this who hasn’t been in a studio before?
Ok maybe if you’re a fan who’s been living under a rock for the past 3 years and never seen one of hundred of hip hop videos that show
the artist in a booth, maybe (just maybe), you’ll enjoy watching your boy Theo spit a respectable, although a lil too LUPE, verse at Chachi’s Beat Box studio.
But again, You can see him actually reading his words off his side-kick.There’s nothing “wrong” with this persay but if you don’t have the words memorized yet then you’re certainly not ready to record the verse because you can’t truly generate the words until you’ve “made them your own”
Finally, Theo takes us to get some beef and broccoli and cranberry juice. –A glimpse into his diet but again, do i care?
Ask out the register girl/steal an eggroll…ur on camera so DO something entertaining
