That’s right, the only rapper with a serious habit for saying things that would make even the toughest rappers blush, Dirty Hank is back with another free EP with his producer/homie Madplaid. Peep the link below and take this artwork, I would post the photo he sent me, but it would be flagged as inappropriate

When he isn’t making suicide threats or drinking excessivly, Dirty Hank a.k.a Adolph Oliver Bush is an MC. He recently spent 6 months working 7 songs in which he compiled into an EP titled, “Dirty Hank’s Guide to Giving Up”. This unique presentation of random acts of fuckery bleeds pain, anger, frustration, sexual angst, and disgust – all beautifully blended over production from acclaimed Providence beatsmith Falside, and up and comer Mad Plaid. Providence wordsmith, Reason of the Poorly Drawn People collective was pressured into making an appearence on “Fade to Wack” and “Overselpt”. If your not left feeling deprived and anxious after listening to “Dirty Hank’s Guide to Giving Up”, somebody didn’t do their job.

Its a bit late in the day but thats what happens when you have a real job. here is the info!

“Five Finger Discount” is a remix compilation originally produced by Providence, Rhode Island beatsmith, Falside. A follow up to his instrumental tape “Bugs In Ya’ Teef“, “Five Finger Discount” is another addition to Falside’s growing digital download series. Available for free download, this installment represents the different syles of Falside’s vastly diverse production. This compilation displays a form of Falside’s production rarely heard previous to this release; the remix. 14 remixed tracks make it clearly evident that Falside’s production can be applied to all styles of emcee’s styles and tastes.

Download The Show
Elevation is a monthly Open Mic / Hip Hop Showcase. Its also a monthly Podcast. We are proud to debut the first official Elevation Podcast. William Javier recorded the open mic, emcee battles, our features performers, and the cypher. He edited it down to one hour and nineteen minutes of pure Rhode Island hip hop audio goodness.
The Elevation podcast is hosted by Rock Solid. The beats are provided by Sterby Rock and William Javier (except when emcee brought their their own beats). The show features performances by: Rock Solid, Romen Rok, Wor Paint, HW, Vendetta, Boudy, Mic Feen, Big City Bumpus, Reason, Dirty Hank, Marshall Law, Science, Casper and CasUno.

Live hip-hop and an audience of smiling faces are rarely seen together nowadays, especially here in Rhode Island. That said; I can’t recall the last time a featured artist kicked off an evening wearing sun-tanning goggles. Romen Rok did exactly that while onstage at Friday night’s Elevation and set the tone for what went on to be an enjoyable, successful open mic night at Firehouse XIII.
Thanks to Rock Solid, who did a fine job of hosting as well as blessing the mic, and Sterby Rock performing scratchutory rape on the tables, the night continued on – and finished – without a moment of silence. Courtesy of some newer names (at least to myself), including Boudy, Wor Paint and Vendetta, and a few of the more recognizable rhyme-slingers, HW, Big City and Mic Feen, the open mic was nicely kept in balance and did a fine job of showcasing the aptitude of our locals.
